Today is the 202nd anniversary of Jane Austen's death. She died in Winchester on 18 July 1817. She was only 41.

Oggi il mondo delle lettere celebra il bicentenario della scomparsa di una tra le scrittrici più conosciute al mondo, Jane Austen, morta all’età di 41 anni a Winchester il 18 luglio 1817. Autrice britannica, è divenuta figura di spicco della narrativa romantica attraverso numerosi capolavori, il più noto dei quali è senza dubbio “Orgoglio e Pregiudizio”.
